Duchess
Our beloved Duchess came to us over 4 years ago from GSRA. Though we originally went to see a much younger GSD, it was this very special senior Duchess that we came across while visiting that stole our hearts. She was an immediate member of our family. Our home and yard became hers. She was always there to greet us when we came home; she went on all our vacations with us. We all miss her. She was the greatest dog in the world to us. It was an honor to hold her as she found peace at the end of her life. I can't wait to cross the Rainbow Bridge with her one day. She will hold a special place in my heart until that day. Good girl, Duch, we love you.

Vegas
Our family said goodbye to our sweet girl yesterday! Vegas was a rescue, she was abused and neglected the first 2years of her life! We made sure to make up for that and give her all the love she could Imagine! For the last 10years she knew nothing but love and fun. She was such a happy, fun loving dog. A best friend and wonderful protector! We love you sweet girl, you will forever be missed.

Bandit Mofus Gissel
We miss you each and every day Bandit! I know you are watching over us. See you soon buddy-Love, Jeremy, Erin, Holden and Gunnar

Holly
My dog Holly was such a special gift to me. She was the most loyal dog I have ever known of. My family called her my secret service dog because she would only walk into a room if I was 2 feet behind her. When I was pregnant with my children she then became our Holly Mama. She would bark if the child was crying, she would bark when they were doing things they shouldn't, she would watch over them like she was their mama. She was always there to make me smile even on my saddest of days. She would lick away my tears or place her head on my lap to comfort me. She was extremely smart and somehow knew exactly how to communicate with me and let me know what she wanted. If she was hungry should would bark once every minute near our pantry, if she wanted fresh water she would bark once every minute at the sink, if she wanted the left overs on the table she would bark once at the table and look at me. She somehow figured out ways to tell me exactly what she needed. She died 1 month and 1 day before her 13th birthday. Although I could go on forever talking about my precious wonder pup, I will end with saying how much I will miss my German Shepherd dog. She was an amazing gift from God never judging always excepting of the changes in our lives. Maybe the word dog is spelled that way because it's God backwards and God sent them down for us just when we needed them most. I look forward to the day that me and my Holly Eve are reunited again. Chloe
Yesterday was one of the hardest days my family and I have endured thus far. We lost a family member who has left a huge hole in our hearts. Chloe lost her battle to cancer on August 2 after a brave fight. She never complained or showed any weakness and was our families protector and friend until her final day. I want to thank the rescue for allowing us the privilage to adopt her into our family 8 years ago. She will be forever missed and has left a paw print on our hearts.
