COURTESY LISTING - Please contact person below with inquiries. ~4-5 years old. Good with dogs and cats. Kids TBD. Date: 3/4/2015 King and Calvin have been housemates and friends ever since Calvin was a pup. Here is a brief summary on both dogs: Calvin: roughly about 4 (at most 5) years old. His mom was a weimaraner, not sure about dad. He is male neutered and housebroken. Seems to like kids. Likes pretty much all people, but he will bark at strangers knocking on the door. King: roughly 6 years old tan and black. Neutered and house broken. King is skeptical of new people, but once he knows you and deems it safe to be pet by you, he LOVES affection. King tolerates kids, but seems to prefer it when they are not around. Very good at listening. Both boys get along well with cats. King is generally indifferent to other dogs. Calvin overall likes most dogs he meets, but can be hit or miss. Calvin has shown some leash aggression towards other dogs. What our situation is: we used to live on a farm and everyone was super happy. In the past year, our location, jobs, and financial situation have changed. We are no longer able to provide the dogs with the enrichment and exercise they need. King seems to be just as happy and loving life. Calvin, however, is not happy. We are in need to rehome Calvin. If a new home would like to adopt both King and Calvin, then we will sadly surrender both dogs. Calvin is available for adoption alone, however, King is not (will only go to same home with Calvin). Both dogs are UTD on vaccines and have been on year-round heartworm, flea, and tick prevention forever.
