GRACIE - ~2 years old.  Good with older considerate kids and dogs.  Apartment appropriate.  Cats TBD.

GSRA Adopts to VA, NC, and SC only

Gracie was picked up in Durham as a stray. She was a little shy at first but once she was in our home she opened right up. She plays with her GSRA Alum foster brother and sister Archie and Henri. She loves to chase squirrels in the backyard and run side by side with Henri. She is crate trained and stays in her crate while her human is at work. She has free roam at night but usually curls up right next to the bed. She is completely housebroken and has not had one accident in the house and lets you know when she needs to go out. She loves to get her belly rubbed and will lay on her back just for that special treat of a belly rub. She plays good with the dogs and respects her other foster brother "Stubby the dachshund"s space. Stubby is 13 years old and can be a grouch at times so Gracie knows just to let Stubby be. Gracie is starting to learn her command and is highly food driven. We just started working on sit. She likes to please and loves to be right next to you. Gracie is very special and will warm your heart!! She has already won the heart of my two daughters.  She does tend to get a bit excited when we first come home but we are working on teaching her that she doesn't get affection until all 4 paws are on the ground.
