German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Young
~9 months old. Good with older considerate kids, dogs and cats. Apartment appropriate. Good with farm animals. Bentley is approx 9 month old neutered sable male. He was found tied to a pole outside the animal shelter in Wilmington, NC. He had an imbedded collar, was emaciated, and terrified of humans. He is still quite afraid of people but tries so hard to be brave and has come so far in the 3 months he has been in foster care. He is a very good boy, house broken and can be left alone with no issues. He has always been with an older female dog and is respectful but also good with the little fur balls. He does have this kitty attraction thing going on, all 3 of mine LOVE him. They don't give the guy a break they even snuggle with him and he just suffers through it:-) He is a quiet guy but has started to show some confidence. He is not high energy and loves to go outside play chase and go for walks, and loves loves loves the lake. He would do fine in an apartment as long as he was taken for daily walks. He has been around horses and did fine with them. He has not had much exposure to kids but what little he has, went well. He is doing great on his obedience training and is a quick learner. Overall, he is just a love and so sweet and just wants to please his person.
