(~4 years old) Good with Kids and Dogs.  Not good with Cats

Meet Brody, an approx 4 year old male we pulled out of a local shelter because his family was moving and couldn’t take him with them. Brody is a large boy, weighing in at about 100lbs but oh so sweet, a true gentle giant! Brody is house and crate trained and does really well in the house, he doesn’t chew or do anything he shouldn’t, he mostly just chills out with his foster siblings, just a real mellow fellow. He does love to chase the neighbor dogs up and down the fence, in fact I think it’s his current favorite activity! Brody is ok on leash but tends to pull but he corrects pretty easily and with some practice could be much better. He’s great with other dogs but way too interested in cats so a home without cats is what we need for this big guy. He’s great with  people and should be fine with children, he’s big so he might knock over toddlers or younger children but there isn’t a mean bone in this guy! He loves to ride in the car and rides really well.
Brody would be fine as an only dog or with 1 or more dogs, like we said he’s just a real mellow fellow. Brody is neutered and up to date on all his vaccines, unfortunately like so many others he tested positive for heartworms so he’ll be going through treatments once the medication is available.
