It's BEAU time!!! Not your morning stop for coffee & a biscuit, but a little treasure GSRA took in. Beau is a friendly, happy-go-lucky pup who was left behind when his owners moved. Fortunately for Beau & you, a neighbor took him in and contacted GSRA.

Beau really is a happy boy who looks at me with sparkling brown eyes that say, "What next," and "Teach me more." He is eager to learn and already knows sit & kennel. He is learning from two GSRA alumni, but would excel in an obedience class.  His leash manners could use some polishing, but aren't bad (he likes to lead). He can be a fence jumper/climber (if you are on the other side) so leaving him out in the yard unsupervised is not advised, nor in the house until he learns not to chew a chair leg. These are easily corrected behaviors for this little star.

Now, Beau is a charmer. Within three days at his new foster home he won the affection of Hope, our neighbor dog. Do you recall the love affair between Beau & Hope on the soap Days of Our Lives? Well it is played out every afternoon in Hope's front yard where these two run & chase, and generally wear each other out. As a result, I think Beau would enjoy visits to a dog park. He is also content with a walk in the neighborhood, where neighbors open their front door and ask, "Who is that, he is so handsome?" Beau has to meet & greet them to prove he is more than a pretty face, he wows them with his sparkling personality.

So, someone's big mistake of leaving Beau behind, is your gain. He is searching for his forever home where he can show everyone how he is in LOVE with LIFE!
