Buddy Elkhound Mix: An adoptable dog at Kerr Lake, NC

Buddy has lived the past month tied to a post with NO shelter. He was well fed and cared for by someone who did not want him to go to the shelter and not have a chance...A German Shephard rescue came out and assessed him and said he is NOT GS at all, but Elk Hound and Chow mix, but I dont see Elk Hound in my list for Petfinder.com--when neutered, that vet said Elkhound (maybe Keeshound)--He is neutered, micro-chipped, has his shots, is heartworm negative, and is about a year + old..He is fine in the crate and goes on leash walks around the lake! He is gentle, loving, obedient and beautiful...his tail can curl up over his back.
