Goldie is one of GSRA's new Seniors. She was found walking the roads in the country trying to figure out what happen. A nice lady gave her food and water and called us. We jumped at the opportunity to bring this beautiful lady into our Rescue. Goldie has been with me alittle over 2 weeks and she is just a sweetheart. Goldie let me know right away that she is a very young 11 yr old..she loves to chase sticks and just grins from ear to ear as she prances back to you..very proud that she has "a stick". She follows me everywhere and loves to just lay by my side. There is something so special about the Senior GSD. They have a huge amount of love to give and appreciate any and all acts of kindness. They return the love 10 fold. I have fostered many dogs with GSRA but the Seniors are my favorite. The look in their eyes is so sweet and special..just makes your heart melt. And Goldie has a these eyes that are true trust and love.

Goldie has alot of spunk and as I mentioned before she loves her "stick". The frosting around her eyes..well I've always had a special thing for salt and pepper hair..

All you need to adopt Goldie is an open heart and love.
