Gracie is about four months old (est. birth date 1/10/11). She was rescued from an animal control center in Lillington, NC. Her features suggest she is a mixed breed. She’ll be a big girl when fully grown.
Gracie has had her first round of shots and is scheduled for more on June 1. After her second round of shots, she’ll be able to socialize regularly. She gets along very well with her foster sister puppy and dog sibling. Car rides make her a bit queasy, but a vet could probably recommend something to ease her stomach. Meanwhile, she is learning to love walks and is becoming house trained.
She has all the playfulness of a puppy with a calm nature underneath. She listens well and is quick to learn. She is doing well with her crate training. With a little more work, Gracie could become one of the best behaved dogs on your block. Soon enough, she’ll be doing stupid pet tricks on Letterman. She will surely be your most loyal friend. She is self-confidence, gentle and intelligent. Nothing ruffles this girl’s feathers. When approached by a growling and barking dog, she responds only with kisses and floppy puppy dance moves.
Gracie is looking for a loving home where she can enjoy attention, exercise, and grow into the caring dog she is meant to be.
An adoption fee of $75 will help cover rescue costs (vet bill, shelter pull-fee).
