Boone is a awesome 6 year old male German Shepherd. He enjoys playing frisbee outside, find-the-treat inside, and is house-broken and has gone through professional training for basic commands. He is extremely strong and acts like he is "tough" but is really a sweet dog when away with his owners.

It breaks my heart having to put him up for adoption, I always swore I would not be that "owner," but I have a toddler and they can't exist together due to aggression reasons. His quality of life suffers being away from the family since he cant get along with the child, so therefore I need to find him a new home. HIs overall health is good, he just turned 6 in May 2021 and has minor arthritis on one of his back hips and also takes anxiety medicine for his anxiousness. He is also neutered and can walk on a leash.

His ideal new owner should have no children or other animals or ever want either in the future. Boone is the type of dog that will sleep in with you (in the bed if invited) and then will chase the frisbee before being ready to go to bed around 9pm. He can just as easily play outside as inside. A fenced in yard would be preferable with a predictable life-cycle since he is anxious about large changes.

As any good owner would, I am not going to let him go to anyone. I need to be sure his future owner has the requirements I outlined above and can ensure his quality of life will remain the same or increased. I don't want to give him to a shelter or a foster since he doesn't like major changes. I would like to deliver him to his future forever home and know he will be loved as much (if not more) than he currently is. Please reach out if you think you can give Boone and love he deserves.
