MISTY ~4 months old. Good with older considerate children and dogs. Cats TBD. Good for seniors/elderly. Good with farm animals. Apartment appropriate. GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only Meet Misty! There’s a little bit of angel and a little bit of devil in this girl! Hide the remote and make room on your lap. Misty is full-on puppy. She has bursts of energy which include heel nipping (herding dog!) and chewing (she’s cutting teeth), and then she just wants a place to rest her head for a couple of hours. Misty loves her crate and will go in for a nap if the door is open. She sleeps quietly through the night and she’s house trained. This smart pup knows to Sit, to Down, and will come when called. And she’s learning to Crawl! Misty is food motivated and will work for kibble – no special treats needed! She will be good with cats when she grows up. Right now she’s a little too puppy-rambunctious. She exhibits calm with the livestock and would make a good herding dog. She’s good with dogs and people. Misty needs an owner who is familiar with herding dog behaviors, and who will invest time into her training. She needs a fenced yard but would be apartment-appropriate if exercised several times during the day. She will be good for Seniors. PLEASE NOTE: GSRA does not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
