BISCUIT ~1-2 years old. Good with kids and dogs. Cats TBD. Needs a companion animal.
GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only.
Who is ready for some Biscuit? No, not the light and fluffy Bojangles type, but rather an adorable gsd mix with the same name! It really does suit her as she is light and fluffy, and so much fun! Unlike traditional biscuits, the GSRA Biscuit contains no calories and would actually help you loose weight? Are you curious yet? If so, read on!
Biscuit is an positively adorable 1.5 year old female. She ended up in the shelter after her elderly owner became ill/incapacitated and could no longer care for her. She clearly loved Biscuit, and spent a lot of time with her. Biscuit is very friendly and outgoing and loves attention. She is housebroken and crate trained and also loves to cuddle if you let her. Biscuit is about 55 pounds. She has a soft and fluffy coat, and fuzzy ears and tail. She is either a coated shepherd, or some sort of mix...maybe GSD/golden retriever?? She has a winning personality. Biscuit just radiates happiness, she joyfully prances around the yard and comes over wagging her tail when called.
So, back to the calories! Biscuit is a young and fairly energetic girl! She would love to be your walking or jogging partner! It is a win/win! Both owner and dog would get exercise and burn calories...and look great while exploring the great outdoors. However, if you are not a runner, that is fine too...Biscuit is happy to run around the yard and entertain herself. It would be much more fun for her if she had another medium or large dog to play with...she really likes other dogs! Biscuit seems to like everybody that she meets....men/women/children...
.does not matter. Shelter stated that she seemed indifferent to cats, but that would have to be rechecked if there are kitties in your home.
Biscuit is very food motivated and seems eager to please. She should be fairly easy to train. She does know how to sit when asked, and does take correction fairly easily as well. Biscuit is spayed and HW negative!!
Biscuit is a very well adjusted dog who is going to be a great addition to some lucky family. She is such a well rounded dog, she will be quite popular!
