German Shepherd Dog (medium coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Senior : : Large
BISHOP ~3-5 years old. Good with older considerate children, dogs, and cats. GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only Bishop is a big sweet goofball!!! Easy going and happy go lucky!! Loves everything and everyone!! He's great in public, loves car rides and is up for pretty much anything. He is your typical velcro sheppie, so much so a reminder of boundaries is needed from time to time. He's great on leash until he sees a potential new friend then he pulls a bit to try and get to them, his foster is working on that! Bishop, so far has been great with all other dogs large and small, male and female. A home with kitties would need to take things slow, a dog savvy kitty home would be best!! A fence isn't a requirement but would be preferred, this also can be said with a companion animal. Despite his size, Bishop is moderately active and crates well, provided his mental and physical needs are met, he could be apartment/small home appropriate as well. Bishop also seems to be house broken and again does well in his crate, loves it actually!! Bishop is quite possibly the perfect dog looking for the perfect family, could that be you???
