German Shepherd Dog (medium coat) : : Female (not spayed, but will be before adoption)
KEERA ~4 months old. Good with older considerate children and dogs. Cats TBD. GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only Keera is a fairly calm puppy. Sounds like an oxymoron. But she will play nicely with toys and other dogs and then settle down next to your feet and take a nice long nap. She is in the chewing stage and needs toys, kongs or other distractions to keep her busy. She is very friendly and loves snuggling with any person. She plays well with other dogs and enjoys car rides and running through the woods. She does fine in a crate, although at night-time she has claimed the dog bed next to me and sleeps there. She no longer has accidents in the house. Keera would love to have a playmate but would also do well as a single dog. It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
