Goose is a 6 month old AKC registered German Shepherd. We have had him for 3 weeks in that time he has been neutered. Goose came to us an excitable 5 month old puppy with some anxiety issues. We have been working to socialize him and once he gets through a meeting period he is very sweet puppy this is very content to play and spend time with people. It is the initial reaction to new people and strange situation that Goose is struggling with. He has a very deep protective instinct and feels it is his responsibility to protect any all he knows so he can become very aggressive in an initial meeting.

He is housebroken and create trained. He is pretty good with basic commands (Sit, Down, Stay). He has a bed and "Spot" in the house that he is understand the command to go to and lay down. We are working on leash walking and we are progressing very well in that front.

Once bonded Goose does not like to be without his people. He does not wonder far in the fenced backyard and does not like to be outside without his people.

Children make him anxious but he has been able to be slowly be introduced to children and then he once again took ownership of them, but his initial reaction is still one of fear that manifests in what can be misinterpreted as aggression.

He is very vocal and likes to tell everyone how he is feeling at any given moment.

Goose will make a great pet for a calm couple or individual who is looking for an only pet that will keep you safe and warm at night.

Goose needs a breed experienced owner who can work on his social anxiety issues.
